PATH launched a global campaign called "She's just getting started" for breaking the taboo around menstrual health and hygiene. As part of the global initiative, it has been PATH's endeavor to influence behavior and break stigma along with initiatives to promote safe menstrual hygiene products. We took up the challenge that PATH presented to us, to 'create conversations' around menstrual health. We connected with like-minded entities and worked towards creating a 'never done before' strategy through a blogger outreach program amplified through community radio. The advocacy led outreach brought a number of long term partners on board, thereby resulting in program coverage in some leading mainstream newsprint dailies.
